"IL LUPO", Translated "The Wolf", is a family run Italian restaurant, originating from the Southern Adriatic region of PUGLIA.

With over 40 years experience in the restaurant industry, both in the UK and Italy, we are a well-established, family owned and run Italian restaurant which has been serving the best authentic Italian cuisine in the Peak District since 1995. We are Based in the picturesque village of Baslow, Derbyshire.

Our Traditionally rustic dishes are bursting with flavour and cooked with passion. We offer a diverse and extensive selection of traditional Italian dishes, from delicious Pastas, Pizza, Calzone, Antipasti & Bruschettas, as well as our high quality Meat & Seafood Specials Dishes.

We stock an extensive and carefully selected range of fine wines to accompany our food.  Many from our home region of PUGLIA. We have a Bar for pre or after dinner drinks.

Even our music is carefully selected to bring you as close as possible to that genuine Italian experience.

Our food is freshly home-made, pan for pan, and truly authentic with the fresh flavours, colours, and textures of Italy. Over the years adapting to the English palate there are a few variants where we bring Italy and England together! Each dish has been perfected over years as well as new and innovative dishes which you will find on our 'House Specialities Menu.

We are Vegan, Vegetarian & Gluten Free Friendly. Inform us of any allergies upon ordering and we will be happy to accomodate you.
